Gadget releases the long anticipated 'Dirty Thumbs Project'

It’s only been a few months since Millennium released ‘The Gathering’ LP followed by Louis Unseen and Deeflux’s ‘1984’ LP and the recent free 'Bleep Cypher' Single

Now resurfacing from his ‘Audio Dojo’ Gadget returns with another selection of gems called ‘The Dirty Thumbs’. 

Being a renowned Producer and Artist on the scene it’s no wonder this project exhibits some of the UK’s most finest and talented artists such as: 

Lost Generation, Lady Paradox, Unfriendly Neighbours, 777, LeeN, Oshea, J Taylor, Serocee, Awakening Dawn, The Merkers, M.A.B, ReggiiMental, EdXL, Emma Louise, Diligent Fingers & Beit Nun along with the occasional touch of turntablism by Louis Unseen and Jabba Tha Kut.

‘The Dirty Thumbs Project’ is packed with productions and concepts from all across the board, Hardcore to soulful beats, up-tempo to down-tempo music, amazing vocals capped with some exciting wordplay and even a bit of humour.

Featured Artist: @KeyzKent

KeyzKent from Las Vegas Is a Different Of Type Artist with a true perception of style writing his own lyrics and reinventing hip-hop is his only task. 

What I like about this artist is he's not frightened to be the unconventional guy and push boundaries.

KeyzKent's mixtape has some interesting quirks, twists and some crazy Interludes added with some excellent collaborations and great beatz.

His mixtape makes you feels like your being taken on a journey  deep into KeyzKent World. One of my favourites is In The Mouth Of Madness I love the switch of beatz @4:15.

Being Dazbeatz I always remain subjective when listening to music, there are loads of great beatz combined with a flamboyant twang and some cool wordplay on KeyzKent's mixtape, but one has to say that some of production quality could be better i.e vocals and beatz  a tad louder.

Saying that lets not forget that quality can be purchased but talent has to be trained and practiced, like a form of Kung Fu (WHA DUFF) and I have to say @Keyzkent and his crew are most definitely chopping there way into the game of Hip Hop.

1.  #MAKING_NOISE

 Anybody who is basically stepping up there game and turning up the heat and MAKING NOISE about it. 

This page came to me on one of my many late night early morning twitterings I was basically thinking of how i could take over the world, so......I kept posting such tags as #BringTheNoise and crap like #TheBeatGoesOn. 

 Then on another random twittery night I started celebrating people’s accolades with comments such as; “Yo @AxsomNelson I just listened to your new track #MAKING_NOISE “ thus UNTO you a tag is born.

Barry White & The Love Unlimited Orchestra

I’ll never forget the day when my brother in-law played me a track that changed the way I listened to and played music, this track is arguably one of the best compositions of our time.

Don't forget the fact that they fused two completely different styles of music making them one. WOW!!!

Who and What ? You might ask..The Love Unlimited Orchestra that’s who. What, the infamous track Loves’s Theme.

The Orchestra was formed by Barry White in the 70’s for the female group Love Unlimited, A whopping 40-piece string-orchestra who for me most definitely put  the funk into the world of orchestral.

This bunch of talented male/female musician are one of few orchestral groups to grab a No1 on the Billboard charts with a track you’ve most probably heard before, unless arguably again, you’ve had your head buried in the sand like an ostridge and still profess to be the most talented person on the planet.

The Infamous Love's Theme is basically an orchestral disco, funk classical kind of thingamabob track and it’s totally genius. Just take a listen to how the big strings and horn sections compliment the bumpy wha wha guitar lic’s and groovy percussion.

This track is utterly floorless in composition, Ear Orgasmic, Funky Sexy and out of this world.

Love Unlimited Orchestra, Dazbeatz Salutes you for mixing it up and taking it to another level.

For my second post I’m going to take you deeper into a world where Geeks make beatz and History.

So………. If Ryan Leslie is clearly on the path of defining his musical legacy how would you define the legend known as J Dilla aka Jay Dee.

In one word, A Total Prodigy, ok that’s three words (smart ass)

This Guy would drop beatz in a way that people would think “is this geek human or from another planet” He had such an infectious personally mixed with an amazing ear for musical detail and not forgetting beatz that had such a ridiculous swing.

This guy was truly one of the greatest Hip Hop producers from the 90’s Just by looking at the a list of some of people J Dilla has produced speaks volumes for his talent.

Sadly in 2006 J Dilla pasted away from TTP  this was most definitely a sad day for music and Hip Hop If you watch JD in some of his videos you can clearly see he had such a great love for life, music and people.

Hello World!!! 

I had to say that as this is my first post and it is like learning a new programming language and Hello World!!! is the embodiment of all tests to all geeks.

I’m not here to talk about code; however I’m going to introduce you to some of the most talented musical and non musical geeks on this planet.

Also i'm very much interested in other peoples opinions and banter, so whether you agree with my comments or posts please air your own views and don’t be frightened to express yourself.

For my first post I must pay reverence to the musical genius who goes by the name of Ryan Leslie.

In my eyes this dude is totally underestimating and doesn't get the R.E.S.P.E.C.T he deserves in the industry.

Just take a look at this video and tell me if I’m wrong. (Watch how many instruments Mr Leslie Plays) Clearly sheer Genius and an inspiration.
